Learn to dance Tango for only 20 pesos!

Buenos Aires is the heart and soul of tango, a culture that is colourfully prominent amidst the everyday happenings of the city; whether that be through the endless souvenirs scattered through the streets and shops, the picturesque murals painted on the walls and alleys, the hundreds of dinner shows advertised, or the real thing with dancers showing their sassy and enticing moves in the streets.
If you’re looking to try your luck at this passionate Argentine pastime without breaking the bank, you should check out La Catedral. With professional instructors, this old warehouse that is decorated with an array of alternative and inviting artwork will inspire you to grab a partner and lose yourself in the moment.
For just 20 pesos a night you will receive an invigorating dance class from 7:30pm to 9:30pm (although don’t be surprised if they are running a bit later than schedule), followed by an open dance to practice what you have just learned. Around midnight there will usually be some form of live entertainment to keep you going and if you need to quench your thirst or grab a bite, there are plenty of cheap options to keep you satisfied.
