The 118th Argentine Open

This weekend I experienced my first Polo game at the 118th Argentine Open in Palermo at the Campo Argentino de Polo de Palermo on Avenida Libertador and Avenida Dorrego.  We got tickets the day of for only $40 ARG and had so much fun walking around the fields and catching glimpses of the game.  Because I don’t know anything about polo, we spent most of the time watching the game from behind the stadium in the shade.  The bleachers had a great view, but were in the sun and it was unbearably hot on a day like Sunday!  It would have been more enjoyable to pay a bit more to sit in the shade, but anyone can sit at the bars and watch from the TVs!  We were able to make some friends and learn some of the rules to the game which was really helpful.  If you missed out this weekend, games will be held every weekend until December 10th.  For more information go to www.aapolo.com
